Welcome to Young’s Wildlife. We are based in Frederick Maryland and are conveniently located off Rt. 15 approximately 8 miles from Frederick city.
We are an hour’s drive from Northern Virginia, DC, Annapolis and Baltimore. Young’s Wildlife is nestled at the foot of the Catoctin Mountains adjacent to the Young’s home. The new modern facility was constructed in 2006.
You will enter Young’s Wildlife off Basford Road adjacent to RT 15 via a ½ mile paved drive, which winds through the woods coming to the parking area in front of our studio. You will enter our studio into our 1200 sq ft. showroom. Our showroom features many different pieces of our artistry and completed cliental pieces ready for pick-up or delivery. We have a separate office where we will discuss mount options and pricing. We have a 1200 sq ft. workshop which features vaulted ceiling, a garage entrance with rollup door for pick-up or drop off of larger pieces and the latest technology in taxidermy equipment and supplies. We have a separate room for storage of horns, antlers and freezers to ensure their security.
We invite you to visit our showroom at your convenience by making an appointment. Our studio hours are Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and by appointment on evenings and weekends.
