At Young’s Wildlife we strive to create the most realistic fish replicas available.
We use only the best commercial fish blanks and in some cases we even custom mold fish in our studio. We take a great amount of time to rebuild the seems properly, recreate scale detail, make proper fin placements and accurate eye sets. Our fish eyes are hand painted in house to create a more accurate look and we heat and twist our fins to create action.
Many hours are spent on each replica both preparing and hand painting these replicas. All of our fish are painted in our studio by both airbrush and hand painted scale tipping. We use many different pigments to recreate the subtle iridescence on each scale which makes our replicas much more realistic than a typical commercial fish.
